- The Kansas Wildlife Federation has long been dedicated to educating the next generation of hunters, anglers and conservationists. Through the Outdoor Adventure Camp (OAC) — the premier youth outdoor education camp in Kansas — KWF board members and other volunteers fill 50 young minds with important information about the outdoors and conservation each year.
- KWF spends each legislative session monitoring the state House and Senate to ensure bills promoting and supporting healthy habitats and wildlife are supported. KWF also roots out unfavorable legislation and works with other conservation organizations and citizens to defeat it. Always vigilant, the KWF board works hard each year to safeguard the state’s valuable wildlife and habitat.
- KWF is committed to promoting R3 (recruitment, reactivation, and retention of hunters and anglers) and diversity in the hunting and angling world.
- KWF will be participating in the National Wildlife Federation’s Certified Wildlife Habitat Program, working with landowners to create and certify backyard habitat.
